Asbestos Abatement Utility Pipe
1 Priority Environmental Services is a licensed and experienced hazardous materials abatement contractor that has removed and disposed of thousands of feet of asbestos cement pressure pipe, often called transite pipe. Transite pipe was used extensively between the 1940’s and 1970’s for the majority of our Nation’s potable utility water pipe. As this infrastructure pipe starts to fail or needs repairs and replacement, only trained and licensed crews or companies should be allowed to perform this work.
1 Priority has worked with numerous types of asbestos containing pipes that have been used to convey water, sewer, natural gas, petroleum products, and electric cables. 1 Priority also performs coal tar pipe coating removal, and coal tar wrapped asbestos abatement throughout Texas and Louisiana.
1 Priority is one of the top asbestos abatement contractors in Texas and Louisiana, and works with utility contractors, municipal water departments and roadway contractors to remove and dispose of transite pipe.
1 Priority has the necessary licensing, insurance, pollution insurance, bonding and experience for this work. 1 Priority crews are asbestos trained, have the necessary safety training and equipment and work safely alongside utility and excavation contractors.
